About Us
Welcome to LCI Signs and Ironworks. We are family-owned and operated in the beautiful Rocky Mountains
southwest of Denver, Colorado. We are committed to providing our clients the very best in personalized, quality
service. With over 20 years experience in manufacturing and design, we’re sure we can make that special item,
just the way you like it. All of our work is handcrafted by Dave and Thomas, a Father and Son team. We are one of the few artists that work in both metal and wood, and this helps us in making
that perfect sign or home décor item. Most of our work is custom made to our clients’ specifications.
During the summer months you can find us at Art Shows throughout the Rocky Mountains. We travel to the
shows with our mobile shop, making custom signs and home décor. As you browse through the website you will find
how easy it is to have that special one-of-a-kind item, custom made for you!
A little bit about our work and how it’s made:
Decorative Metal
We start with a hand drawing or a digital photograph and then turn the artwork into silhouettes with
the help of a computer. The silhouette art is then cut using a Plasma torch, ground and polished, and formed as
needed to create the design. Once the design is finished, we then Patina the cold-forged steel to create an
array of colors. The final process for all metal work is powder coated for a finish that cleans easily and
holds up to the outdoor elements.
Wooden Signs and Furniture
We work with a couple of different wood types. Signs are made from Cedar or Redwood. These woods hold
paints well, finish nice, and are an excellent wood for the outdoors. For the log furniture we hand pick the
logs, looking for that special character in each piece. The character of the logs gives each piece its own unique look.
